FAQs

Q?

What time is First Presbyterian’s service?

A.

Sunday school takes place at 9:15am, with Worship happening at 10:30am.

Q?

What ages does Sunday school cover?

A.

When in session, we provide Sunday school services for pre-K all the way through to adults. During the summer break, Sunday School does not meet, however.

Q?

During service are there things for my kids to do?

A.

We highly encourage children of all ages to participate in the main worship service. That said, we understand sometimes service gets a little long for the little ones. We have a fully staffed nursery where those from newborn all the way up to five can play under the care of our volunteer nursery staff members.

For the older kids, we do have an area at the back of the church where they can color, if they wish, while still hearing and engaging with what's going on in the sanctuary around them.

Q?

How long is the worship service?

A.

Typically it lasts around an hour, though the times may vary slightly.

Q?

Outside of worship, are they any other church related activities we can get involved in?

A.

Yes, absolutely. Some of these activities include choir,  an adult Bible Study that meets weekly on Thursdays, and more. For full details on ways you can get involved with the church - and the Nebraska City community in general - click here.
